About the Role

This Night Registered Veterinary Nurse role at Medivet Beckenham 24 is built around overnight hospital care in a busy, well-equipped 24-hour setting. You'll work 7 nights on and 14 nights off, with an average of 28 weekly hours.

The position focuses on emergency and critical care nursing, supporting inpatient monitoring, triaging emergency phone calls and consultations, and assisting with emergency surgeries overnight. You'll work alongside a Veterinary Surgeon, a night VCA and another RVN, with support when required from on-call colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Veterinary Surgeon with overnight inpatient care.
• Triaging emergency phone calls and consultations.
• Assist with emergency surgeries during night shifts.
• Help keep the hospital running smoothly during out-of-hours periods.
• Work as part of the night team alongside a Veterinary Surgeon, a night VCA and another RVN.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Benefits

• Salary of £42,300 FTE per year, DOE.
