Night Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent night nursing position at Medivet’s 24-hour hospital in Enfield. You’ll work a 7-on-7-off rota pattern, delivering high-quality overnight care to inpatients and supporting emergency procedures alongside the night veterinary surgeons. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inpatients during night hours
• Assist with emergency and surgical procedures as required
• Support the night veterinary surgeon team in delivering emergency and critical care
• Ensure smooth hospital operations and patient welfare during out-of-hours periods
• Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation
• Contribute to a safe, organised, and professional night-shift environment

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
• Experience working in a hospital or emergency setting (desirable)
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to high standards of patient and client care
• Flexibility to work a permanent night-shift rota (7-on-7-off pattern)
