About the Role

This Registered Veterinary Nurse role is based in a busy high street practice in St Albans, where you will support the vet with both clinical and administrative work. The role includes nurse led appointments, schedule 3 activity and day to day collaboration with other clinics to help deliver exceptional care.

You will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will support the vet with procedures as needed. The rota includes 1:6 weekends, bank holidays and on call to support colleagues at Watford 24 hour Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nurse led appointments and support consults, surgeries and procedures.
• Carry out schedule 3 activities within regulatory, practice and operational standards.
• Provide patient monitoring, care, admissions and discharges.
• Support the vet with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Liaise with other clinics to help deliver care for clients and patients.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
