  • Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability based on team skills and capacity
  • Ensure online appointment slots are released and maintained for client bookings
  • Process repeat prescription order requests efficiently
  • Work collaboratively within the team, supporting colleagues and maintaining a positive atmosphere

Requirements

  • Excellent reception and client-facing skills with a genuine ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong numeracy and proficiency with online appointment booking systems
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and remain organised in a busy environment
  • Flexible, willing to learn, and genuinely team-oriented
  • Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable (but not essential)

Benefits

  • Health & Wellbeing: Health Cash Plan from day one, 24/7 counselling and wellbeing support, and Life Assurance at 3x salary
  • Annual Leave: 5 weeks’ holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising with length of service), plus one extra paid ‘Day for You’
  • Additional Perks: Cycle to Work scheme, Season Ticket loans, and discounts on Medivet products and services
