Medivet Alfreton is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a large, supportive clinical team in a 24-hour hospital with a dedicated night team. The role is offered as full time, 40 hours per week, with 1 in 6 weekends and Bank Holidays, plus on-call duties to support the night team. Part-time applications are very welcome and the practice is open to flexibility where it can.
There is also the opportunity to spend 2 days a week working as a ward vet, managing inpatients. The hospital has a wide clinical mix, with many vets holding or working towards certificates in cardiology, surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, imaging and ophthalmology.

Medivet Alfreton is a large, well-equipped hospital with six consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, three sterile theatres, dedicated diagnostic suites, dental facilities, digital x-ray and two staff rooms. The team includes 14 vets, 18 RVNs, 3 VCAs and 5 receptionists.
