Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

This Veterinary Surgeon role is based at Medivet Bracknell Easthampstead, a welcoming, community focused first opinion practice with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for patient care.

You will be part of a closely connected group of five local Medivet practices, with support from an experienced Lead Vet and Partner, plus access to a wider clinical network through Medivet’s hub-and-spoke model. Complex cases can be referred to the nearby 24-hour hospital in Wokingham, giving you access to advanced diagnostics, specialist teams, modern equipment and clear development pathways.

The rota includes one weekend in six at the Wokingham hospital, and you will also take part in the on-call and bank holiday rota. Regular 1:1s are part of the role, covering your development, caseload, wellbeing and career ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients in consults and surgery.
• Develop tailored treatment plans with clients.
• Work collaboratively within the practice team and across the wider Medivet group.
• Share clinical knowledge and support the development of Medivet communities.
• Maintain care in line with regulatory, practice and operational compliance requirements.

Requirements

• You must be a qualified MRCVS.
• You should have a passion for clinical excellence and client care.
• You should be a team player who wants to make a real difference in practice.

About the Practice

Medivet Bracknell Easthampstead is part of a group of five local Medivet practices, supported by an experienced Lead Vet and an experienced Partner. The group works closely together, with access to shared knowledge, case discussion and the wider clinical support available through Wokingham Hospital.

The practice sits within Medivet’s hub-and-spoke model, which links local community practice work with a nearby 24-hour hospital for more complex cases and additional clinical support.
