Veterinary Surgeon (Surgical Bias)

About the Role

You’ll join Medivet Whitchurch as an experienced surgical-focused vet with genuine autonomy over your caseload. This is a 4-day-per-week role with Saturday cover on a 1-in-3 rota—but crucially, no out-of-hours duties. The practice has been recently refurbished and sits just five minutes from the train station, making commuting straightforward.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard clinical care across consultations and surgical procedures, maintaining regulatory and practice compliance
• Develop individualised treatment plans in collaboration with clients
• Build and manage your own surgical caseload with clinical autonomy
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
• Contribute to the broader Medivet communities’ clinical development

Requirements

• Qualified MRCVS with experience in general practice
• Passion for clinical excellence and patient care
• Surgical interest and ability to work independently within a supportive structure
• Team-oriented approach with commitment to client communication

Medivet Whitchurch is a recently refurbished small animal practice offering a professional clinical environment.
