Join an independent Nottinghamshire practice with a varied small animal caseload, clinical freedom and a role that can work around full-time or part-time hours. There is no mandatory out-of-hours cover, and weekend consulting is only ideal rather than essential.
This is an opportunity for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join a long-established independent practice in Nottinghamshire. The role can be full time or part time, with a normal start time of 8am, and there is no mandatory out of hours or weekend work.
That said, fitting into 1 in 5 consulting weekends from the Newark Surgery would be ideal. The weekend rota runs on a Saturday from 12.30pm to 5.30pm and a Sunday from 10am to 4.30pm, with 2 full days off in the following week. If part time, this can be negotiated to be paid instead. There is also an optional separate opportunity to include out of hours on call work, with a generous time back and on call package.
The practice has a busy, friendly atmosphere and values team spirit, clinical freedom and the chance to shape a role around individual interests.
