About the Role
This is a rare leadership opportunity at Moorview Vets, a progressive, multi-site small animal practice in the North East. You'll step into a Director of Practice & Clinical Services role that genuinely balances meaningful clinical work with strategic leadership—approximately 75% clinical caseload alongside your directorship responsibilities. Working 40 hours across just 4 days per week with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments, this role offers the work-life balance senior clinicians deserve.
The practice operates across 5 sites including a main hospital, consult-only branches, and a dedicated dental facility, all equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology (CT, digital radiography, laparoscopy, endoscopy, Doppler ultrasound). You'll shape clinical vision and governance across a team with multiple certificate holders in medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and cardiology—and you'll have the freedom to manage referral-level cases within this first opinion setting.
