About the Role
This is your chance to join a well-established small animal practice on the beautiful Sussex Coast, where work-life balance isn't just a phrase—it's a reality. With no out-of-hours commitments and a manageable 1 in 3 Saturday rota (8am–2pm only), this role genuinely respects your personal time.
Working between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday with a mix of early and late starts, you'll build confidence and develop clinical skills in a supportive environment where vets are encouraged to grow at their own pace. Access to your own transport is essential as you'll be working across the three branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-opinion clinical care across small animal general practice
- Manage a varied caseload including routine and emergency operations, dental work, and investigations
- Arrange specialist referrals when necessary
- Contribute to a collaborative team of 6 veterinary surgeons and 9 nurses in a Registered Nurse Training Practice environment
- Participate in an equally shared rota across three practice locations
Requirements
- Qualified veterinary surgeon (RCVS registered)
- Reliable access to your own transport
- Willingness to work across multiple practice locations
- Ability to work collaboratively and support less experienced colleagues

Northdale Veterinary Practice is a well-established small animal clinic based in sunny Worthing on the Sussex Coast, with three branch locations. The practice welcomes the majority of small animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, ferrets, tortoises, pet chickens, ducks, and birds. They carry out most procedures on-site including routine and emergency operations, dental work, and investigations, with specialist referral arrangements where necessary.
