PDSA is seeking an Assistant Charity Shop Manager to join the Openshaw shop on a temporary 6 month basis. The role is 14 hours per week, worked across two days, and the shop trades seven days a week, so flexibility across the week, including weekends, is needed.
You will be based in a large, busy retail park store where colleagues work between 9am and 5pm, including Sundays. Each working day includes 7 paid hours plus a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, and there may also be occasions when support is needed at other nearby PDSA shops.
This is a customer focused role for someone who enjoys retail, working with people and contributing to a charity with a clear purpose. You will support the Shop Manager day to day, working closely with volunteers to maximise profit, keep the shop welcoming and promote the PDSA name in the local community.
