About the Role

Join PDSA Hull’s bank veterinary team and bring your clinical skills to a role that genuinely makes a difference. This is flexible, part-time locum work—you pick up shifts that fit around your life, whether you’re topping up your hours, balancing other commitments, or easing back into clinical practice. Every shift counts: you’ll be supporting pets and owners in financial hardship, helping keep families and their beloved animals together when times are tough.

You’ll step into a busy, modern hospital handling a diverse range of medical and surgical cases. The team is collaborative and supportive—case discussion and shared learning are part of the culture, and your colleagues bring varied clinical interests to draw on. You’ll use your clinical confidence to make sound, evidence-based decisions, discuss realistic treatment options with clients, and take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach that balances best practice with each owner’s circumstances.
