About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Pet Practice's Amersham surgery, which opened in 2023 and is growing at an impressive 50% per annum. You'll work in a modern, well-equipped facility in the heart of the Chiltern hills, with easy access to London via the Metropolitan line. The role offers part-time or full-time options with flexibility around your life.

You'll work alongside one other permanent vet, supported by visiting ophthalmology, soft tissue and orthopaedic specialists. Initially a sole-charge position as the practice expands, but with constant backing from 25 clinicians and 100 staff across the wider group. This is genuinely collaborative veterinary practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-opinion small animal care alongside peripatetic surgical and medical teams
• Work independently whilst the practice grows, with full support from the wider group
• Perform routine and emergency procedures with access to digital radiography, ultrasonography and in-house Idexx laboratory
• Use dedicated surgical facilities for routine and specialist cases
• Build relationships with clients and contribute to the practice's rapid expansion

Requirements

• RCVS registration as a veterinary surgeon
• Experienced, dynamic practitioner comfortable with independent clinical decision-making
• Ability to thrive in a growing, supportive team environment
