Ready to join an independent practice where your clinical ideas genuinely shape the direction of the business? Petwell House Vets offers four-day weeks, zero out-of-hours duties, and the chance to work sole charge with real autonomy and support.
All out-of-hours emergencies handled by NSVE (North Surrey Veterinary Emergencies). No on-call duties.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Petwell House Vets, an independently owned two-site small animal practice near Heathrow, with clinics in Hayes and Feltham. You'll work a manageable four-day week (9am to 7pm) with only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am to 12pm). Best of all, all out-of-hours emergencies are handled by NSVE, meaning your evenings, Sundays, and bank holidays are completely free. Your days will balance consultations with procedures, with morning appointments finishing at 11.30am and evening clinics starting at 4pm, giving you plenty of time to work up cases, complete admin, and catch up on calls.
You'll be confident working sole charge and eager to develop your career further. This role offers genuine clinical freedom: work up your cases the way you see fit, pursue specialist interests, introduce new services aligned with your passions, and contribute directly to strategic decisions alongside the Head of Clinic and Director, David. If you're looking for more than day-to-day clinical work, this platform will help you hone leadership skills and shape the practice's future.
Both clinics are easily accessible with excellent transport links: the Elizabeth Line or National Rail connect you quickly to central London, and you're just minutes from Heathrow for weekend getaways or international travel.
