About the Role

Richmond Vets is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their welcoming, close-knit small animal practice. This is a part-time position offering genuine work-life balance: you'll work three days per week (8am–5pm) with no out-of-hours shifts and no in-patient care responsibilities—just one Saturday in five. The practice prides itself on a collaborative environment where every team member is valued, and mutual support is woven into the culture every day. Located in Richmond, Surrey, between Kew Gardens and the Thames, the practice sits within easy reach of London and a short walk from Richmond Park. You'll be part of a team that maintains strong community links and works closely with a local cat charity, bringing purpose alongside daily patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• General nursing duties across small animal and exotic medicine and surgery
• Dental procedures and radiography support
• Anaesthesia monitoring
• Running nurse clinics
• Clear and compassionate client communication
• Close collaboration with veterinary surgeons and fellow nursing staff

Requirements

• Current RVN registration
• Proven experience across a range of general nursing responsibilities
• Confidence in small animal practice environments
