Riverside Veterinary Care is seeking an experienced small animal vet with strong surgical interests to join their ambitious independent practice in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. This is a full-time or part-time permanent role with a genuinely flexible rota that prioritises work-life balance: full-time vets typically work a 4-day week with just 1:6 weekends (counting toward your 4-day week), plus one late shift per week running evening surgery. After 10:30 pm, calls transfer to Vets Now in Newport, so there is no overnight on-call requirement.
The practice is undergoing a major expansion, with a new surgical hub, dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray, three additional consulting rooms, and improved kennels due for completion in October 2026.
