Love cats and hands-on animal care? Join the RSPCA's dedicated team at Stapeley Grange and help rescued cats rebuild trust and find their forever homes.
This is a hands-on, part-time fixed-term role supporting the RSPCA's cat rescue and rehoming mission at Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre. Working 17.5 hours per week across weekdays and weekends (8am to 4pm shifts), you'll be at the heart of helping rescued cats recover from trauma, rebuild confidence, and transition to loving homes. No two days are the same, and while the work can be emotionally challenging, it's deeply rewarding.
The role is based in rural Cheshire with no nearby public transport, so you'll need your own transport to get to work.
Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre is part of the RSPCA, a charity dedicated to animal welfare and rescue across England and Wales. The centre's cattery rehomes around 200 cats annually, each one receiving love, attention and rehabilitation tailored to their needs. The team is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive workplace where every staff member feels valued and supported through regular check-ins and team meetings.
The RSPCA actively encourages applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly from underrepresented groups including members of minority ethnic communities and people with disabilities. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
