  • Contribute to a mixed-case workload with support from four experienced vets and six registered veterinary nurses
  • Work collaboratively within a long-standing team, building on the practice’s 60+ year reputation
  • Develop expertise or pursue special interests in areas such as dentistry, soft tissue surgery, or other surgical disciplines, with practice support
  • Maintain high standards of patient and client care using modern, fully equipped facilities

Requirements

  • Qualified veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS
  • Passionate about small animal medicine and surgery
  • Ability to handle diverse cases and deliver exceptional client care
  • Interest in or existing certification in a veterinary specialism (desirable but not essential)
  • Team player with strong communication skills

Benefits

  • Work-Life Balance: 6.6 weeks annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, plus additional holiday for your birthday
  • Wellbeing Support: Private medical insurance, 24/7 employee assistance programme, enhanced family-friendly policies (maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental, and surrogacy pay)
  • Professional Development: £1,250 CPD allowance with 40 hours paid CPD leave (pro rata), certificate support, access to IVC Evidensia Academy, Vetlexicon online encyclopaedia, research funding opportunities, and £1,250 annual Care Fund per vet
  • Professional Memberships: BVA membership and VDS cover included
  • Pension & Perks: Company pension scheme with employer contribution, cycle to work and green cars scheme, voluntary benefits, retailer discounts and cashback, discounted treatment at IVC Evidensia practices
  • Zero Out-of-Hours Requirement: All emergency cover provided by VetsNow partnership
