You'll join Sussex Equine Hospital as a Student Veterinary Nurse, working towards your Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification while gaining hands-on experience across a range of nursing duties. This full-time apprenticeship role includes working weekends on a rota, and you'll be supported and encouraged to develop both clinical and non-clinical skills under the guidance of experienced Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses.
Located in rural West Sussex with excellent train links to London, Brighton and Worthing, the hospital is just 20 miles from the seaside. You'll be part of a highly skilled team of 26 equine vets, nurses, grooms and administrative staff, working in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built referral facility with fantastic lab and pharmacy provision.
Sussex Equine Hospital was founded in 1951, originally as the Arundel Equine Hospital, and relocated to Ashington in July 2017. The state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility provides outstanding equine veterinary care to patients ranging from elite sport and racehorses to children's ponies.
