Applications closed
No out-of-hours commitments. Shared weekend rota only.
Taverham Veterinary Hospital is in an exciting growth phase, and they’re looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their large, collaborative clinical team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC). This is a 4-day week role (38.5 hours) with a shared weekend rota and crucially, no out-of-hours commitments—giving you genuine work-life balance.
You’ll be working in a modern, well-resourced hospital equipped with a CT scanner, four operating theatres, dedicated cat and dog wards, isolation facilities, hydrotherapy, and physiotherapy services. The practice also runs branch locations at Longwater Lane and Bure Valley, so you’ll gain exposure to varied first opinion cases and may occasionally support across the wider team.
Taverham Veterinary Hospital is a modern, ambitious small animal practice in Norwich, operating as part of IVC Evidensia—the UK and Europe’s leading veterinary care group comprising over 900 practices and referral hospitals. The hospital is well-equipped with advanced facilities including CT imaging, multiple operating theatres, dedicated isolation wards, and complementary services like hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, alongside a veterinary-led cattery.
IVC Evidensia’s philosophy centres on supporting careers without limits. The organisation invests in learning, innovation, and colleague wellbeing, creating environments where clinical teams grow in confidence, capability, and fulfilment at every career stage. Taverham’s expanding team operates branch practices at Longwater Lane and Bure Valley, offering diverse clinical experience within a collaborative, values-led culture.
