E.C. Straiton and Partners is seeking a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy mixed practice veterinary hospital in Penkridge, Staffordshire. The role sits within a team of 14 vets, 27 RVNs and SVNs, plus support colleagues, with several certificate holders in the group.
You will work a four-day week from 8am to 6pm, with small animal and large animal days based at the same hospital and preference considered where your interests lie. The practice also has a second small animal branch practice 8 miles away, which will occasionally need cover.
The caseload is varied and case continuity is encouraged. The hospital carries out advanced small animal surgery in house, including soft tissue and orthopaedics, and also offers facilities for minor equine surgical procedures. Travelling specialists visit regularly for more complex cases.
