You'll be joining a dedicated hospital nursing team at a busy 24-hour veterinary facility in Brighton. This role involves managing a varied caseload of both emergency and advanced medical cases referred from five branch practices and local referral partners. Working 40 hours per week over 4 days, you'll have a realistic on-call rota that includes 1:8 full weekends (with a day back in lieu the following week) and 1:14 weeks of 2nd on-call, supported by a dedicated in-house out-of-hours team.
The hospital is purpose-built with high-tech equipment, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, and dedicated cat, dog, exotic, isolation, and day procedure wards. Your team includes multiple certificate holders with clinical interests spanning orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, and exotics, creating an environment rich with learning opportunities and collaborative case support.
