A varied RVN role with consulting, theatre, inpatient care and nurse clinics at the heart of the week. The practice is growing and wants someone who can help shape and develop its nursing services.
You will join The Firs Veterinary Surgery in a varied Registered Veterinary Nurse role that combines consulting, theatre work, inpatient care and general nursing duties. The practice is expanding its services, increasing surgical capacity and developing nurse clinic provision, so this is a chance to play an active part in that growth.
The position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week over 4 days, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings included within those weekly hours. Part-time applications and job shares will also be considered for the right candidate, and while there is flexibility, Mondays and Fridays must be covered.
This role would suit an RVN who enjoys building client relationships through nurse clinics and also thrives in a hands-on theatre environment.
The Firs Veterinary Surgery is a welcoming and supportive practice with a close-knit team of 1.5 to 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse and 2 full-time equivalent reception team members. The practice aims to treat every patient as though they were their own pet and every client as they would wish to be treated themselves.
The team is described as supportive, encouraging and empowering, with a strong focus on helping colleagues develop their careers. With a dedicated front-of-house team in place, the nursing team can focus on delivering patient care.
