This part-time out-of-hours Veterinary Nurse role is based in Manchester and sits within a 24/7 hospital providing emergency pet care. You will be part of an existing OOH team supporting nights, weekends and bank holidays, with 12-hour shifts on a 3 shifts on, 5 shifts off rotation.
The rota runs across 19:00 to 07:00 and 18:00 to 06:00. A 10% bonus is included for working OOH, and the caseload covers emergency and critical care cases as well as monitoring inpatients from referral services.
You will rotate through ICU, triage and wards, working closely with Veterinary Surgeons and supporting patients from admission through to ongoing inpatient care.
