This is a 12 month fixed-term Registered Veterinary Nurse role covering maternity leave, based within a large, busy and well-established practice. You will work across three sites, Petersfield, Horndean and Farlington, with a varied caseload and the chance to build on a broad nursing skillset.
The rota is 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, with shifts between 7:30am and 7:30pm. Weekend work is 1 in 4 weekend day shifts with time off in lieu, and there is no out-of-hours as this is supported by a dedicated night team.
You will be involved in theatre and anaesthesia, inpatient care, nurse clinics and general nursing duties. The practice also encourages nurses to use their skills in blood sampling, IV placement, radiography, and dental scale and polishes.
