This Anaesthesia RVN opportunity is based at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists in Alton, where you'll be supporting a wide referral caseload across anaesthesia and analgesia, neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and cardiology.
The role is suited to an experienced RVN with around 1 to 2 years' experience in anaesthesia. You'll be fully supported by a large anaesthesia team, including 5 anaesthetists, 2 resident anaesthetists and 9 anaesthesia RVNs, plus 4 senior anaesthesia nurses. A 4 to 8 week induction is followed by in-house learning, regular CPD lectures and 6-monthly CPR refreshers.
Clinical work includes monitoring patients from sedation through to more complex anaesthetic cases, with opportunities to place arterial lines and central venous catheters and contribute to case discussions with the anaesthetists.
