This is a full-time small animal position in a well-established, RCVS accredited practice spanning four sites across Hartlepool, Horden, Billingham and Sedgefield. You'll work 40 hours per week with 1-in-4 Saturday rota and no out-of-hours commitments, giving you genuine weekday evenings and nights off. Part-time options are available for those seeking more flexibility.
The newly opened Hartlepool premises (2026) features exceptional surgical and diagnostic facilities including CT, complemented by ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy and laparoscopy across all sites. Your day is structured to support thorough clinical work: 20-minute consultation slots, dedicated admin time, and well-managed diaries with on-the-day emergency capacity.

Clifton Lodge Veterinary Group is a well-established small animal practice led by Clinical Directors Zoe and Christo, with practice manager Donna. The team includes certificate holders across surgery, dentistry, imaging, cardiology and minimally invasive surgery, supported by dedicated RVNs, VCAs and ANAs with specialist interests in feline medicine and internal medicine.
