This full time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon role is based across Clevedale Veterinary Practice’s branches, with the base branch shaped around your circumstances and the needs of the team. The standard pattern is 39 hours over 4 days, with part time and flexible working considered.
The rota includes no out of hours, no bank holidays and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings from 8.30am to 2pm. The practice is looking for a confident vet who is comfortable with sole charge and skilled in both medical and surgical cases.
You'll be joining a supportive environment where colleagues share knowledge freely and are encouraged to develop. The role also comes with access to strong local lifestyle appeal across North Yorkshire and the North East, including coastline, countryside and market towns.
Clevedale Veterinary Practice is described as a friendly, well established mixed practice with 24 vets and 20 RVNs across four sites in Whitby, Guisborough, Stokesley and Redcar, with Upleatham listed as the base location on the advert. The team includes certificate holders and vets with long service, and the practice highlights a collaborative culture with regular team socials, in house CPD and practical training sessions.
Facilities mentioned include dental radiography, in house echocardiography, laparoscopic equipment and orthopaedic surgery capabilities. The role is advertised as part of the VetPartners family.
