This small animal Veterinary Surgeon role is based at St. Peter’s Vets in Petersfield and offers a varied GP caseload. The practice is looking for a vet who can manage consultations efficiently, carry out at least basic surgery, and is comfortable working sole charge when needed.
You can take on a broad role with both medicine and surgery, or a consult-only or medicine-focused approach if that suits your strengths better. The practice also has dedicated night cover on site, so there are no night shifts in this post.
St. Peter’s Vets was originally founded in 1974 by two friends and has grown to include 4 surgeries across Farlington, Horndean, Liss and Petersfield. The branches are equipped with modern healthcare technology, including laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy, and the team also includes an in-house orthopaedic surgeon and a visiting ophthalmologist.
The Petersfield surgery provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and the practice also runs a mobile vet service for routine house visits, euthanasia, blood sampling and medication checks. VetPartners is the parent group behind the opportunity.
