Out-of-hours cover provided by Glasgow Vet School
This is a unique opportunity to become owner of Vets for Pets Bearsden, a well-established small animal practice in Glasgow that’s been thriving since 2012. You’ll operate with complete clinical and operational autonomy, setting your own vision for the practice while benefiting from the security and support of being part of a 440-practice network. The practice operates six days a week with out-of-hours cover provided by Glasgow Vet School, giving you genuine work-life balance alongside earning a salary from day one as you build your business.
Located on a busy trunk road overlooking a large residential area, the practice serves an active client base exceeding 2,500 patients. The stand-alone facility spans 2,156 sq. ft. across two floors with shared off-road parking, providing an ideal platform for growth and development in your own hands.
Vets for Pets Bearsden has operated since 2012 and has established itself as a trusted small animal provider in the Glasgow area. The practice manages a diverse client base largely comprising dogs, cats, and rabbits, supported by an experienced in-house team of seven clinical colleagues. The facility is RCVS PSS-accredited, holds ISFM silver status, and actively trains veterinary nurses, reflecting its commitment to clinical standards and professional development.
Vets for Pets itself operates as a network of over 440 locally-owned small animal practices, each run independently by their owners but supported by centralised business functions. This model gives you the independence of business ownership combined with the backing of a national infrastructure—no isolation, no reinventing the wheel.
