This is a full-time Head Nurse position leading a talented nursing and veterinary care assistant team at an established small animal practice. You'll work a standard 40-hour week with a manageable 1-in-4 weekend rota and receive a day of time off in lieu after each weekend worked. Shift patterns are flexible: either 8:30am to 4:30pm or 11:15am to 7:15pm, both including a 30-minute lunch break.
The practice sits inside a Pets at Home store in Freeport Shopping Village, just a 5-minute walk from Braintree train station, 20 minutes from Stansted Airport, and 45 minutes from the Essex coast. You'll be working with a varied and interesting caseload, giving you real scope to develop your clinical interests and support others in doing the same.
