Biggleswade Vets for Pets is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to help shape the future of a growing small animal practice. This is a hands-on clinical role with real influence, combining medicine, surgery, leadership and mentoring.
You will work alongside the Practice Owner, Sarah, an RVN with more than 20 years of experience in veterinary practice. The practice is owner-led and is looking for someone who wants to contribute ideas, support colleagues and help drive clinical excellence. For the right candidate, there is genuine scope for future progression, including potential buy-in opportunities.
The rota includes a 1 in 4 weekend commitment, and the practice is happy to discuss flexible and part-time working options.
Biggleswade Vets for Pets is an owner-led small animal practice. The team currently includes 1 additional full-time Veterinary Surgeon, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 5 Receptionists and 1 Practice Manager who is an RVN.
The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, tonometry and K-Laser. Facilities include three consultation rooms, a dedicated prep area, separate isolation facilities, separate kennel areas, and staff office and kitchen facilities. It is also a Cat Friendly Practice.
