About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to establish and lead your own small animal veterinary practice in Carmarthen, a growing community with strong pet ownership and genuine demand. As Practice Owner, you’ll have complete clinical autonomy—you decide your team, services, and clinical standards. Vets for Pets handles the non-clinical support (property, finance, HR, marketing, systems), so you stay focused on delivering outstanding care. You’re part of a network of over 440 locally-owned practices, each running independently while benefiting from collective backing.

• Lead all clinical decision-making and set standards for your practice

The Facility

Your new practice will feature three consult rooms, X-ray, operating theatre, pharmacy, laboratory, preparation area, separate cat and dog wards, isolation ward, separate cat and dog waiting areas, fully branded reception, and office space—all newly built to the highest standards.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Surgeon with current RCVS registration
• Proven clinical experience and leadership capability
• Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to build a thriving practice
• Ability to work within the Vets for Pets framework while maintaining independence
• Ambition to establish a modern, client-focused veterinary business
