About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to own and operate your own veterinary practice as part of Vets for Pets' established network of over 440 locally owned practices across the UK. You'll lead a brand-new, modern practice space located on a retail park just off the A78 in Greenock, benefiting from high visibility and excellent client access within a bustling Pet Care Centre.

The ownership model is designed to be accessible: sole ownership requires an initial personal investment of £20,000, or £10,000 per partner if you choose to co-own. You'll enjoy a two-year loan repayment holiday to establish your practice, followed by 100% profit twice-annual dividends once loans are repaid. This is full-time, permanent employment with genuine clinical and operational autonomy.

• Lead clinical and operational strategy for your practice, shaping its direction and culture
• Build and manage a team within your practice

• Maintain clinical standards and deliver quality care to your patient base
• Utilise the support network and 12 dedicated departments provided by Vets for Pets for guidance on financial, HR, marketing, and operational matters

Requirements

• Experienced veterinary professional with ambition to build and lead a practice
• Valid RCVS registration and in good standing
• Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to practice growth
• Ability to work autonomously whilst leveraging network support
• Willingness to establish personal investment (£20,000 sole, £10,000 per partner)

Vets for Pets is a network-based ownership model encompassing over 440 locally owned and operated practices across the UK. Each practice maintains independence whilst benefiting from centralised support in finance, HR, marketing, compliance, and operational guidance. The Greenock practice is a newly established location within a Pet Care Centre, positioned for strong client accessibility and community engagement.

The employer is currently recruiting across multiple roles including veterinary surgeons, RVNs, and practice managers to support growth across the network.
