About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to become a Practice Owner with Vets for Pets, launching a brand-new small animal practice in Haverfordwest, a historic market town in Pembrokeshire surrounded by stunning coastline and countryside. You will have full clinical and operational autonomy to define your clinical journey, client relationships, and team culture. This is your practice, driven by your ambition and run your way, with the freedom to make decisions without corporate direction on protocols, medications, or operations.

The practice will be purpose-built within Springfield Retail Park, offering high visibility and excellent footfall alongside an existing Pet Care Centre. The 1,400 sq ft single-floor space will be tailored to your needs, including three consultation rooms, prep area and theatre, X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, separate cat and dog wards, waiting areas, isolation ward, office, and branded reception. The practice could be operational within 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical strategy and day-to-day operations of your own practice
• Build and manage your veterinary team
• Develop client relationships and practice reputation within the local community
• Make autonomous clinical and surgical decisions without corporate interference
• Grow your business and client base with dedicated support from the partnership
• Manage practice finances and work towards profitability to build equity and dividends

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (MRCVS or equivalent)
• Experienced veterinary professional with a genuine ambition to own and run a practice
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to invest in your business
• Ability to work collaboratively with the partnership support teams
