About the Role

The practice is positioned on a busy retail park with excellent footfall, located inside a Pets at Home store with whom they have a strong working relationship. You’ll have access to modern equipment including orthopaedic capabilities, dedicated dental facilities, and ultrasound. With a large, varied client base and a high volume of emergency cases, you’ll have plenty of scope to put your own clinical stamp on things and develop specialist interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the clinical and operational direction of Vets for Pets King’s Lynn with complete autonomy
• Shape the practice offering and culture for your team and the local community
• Deliver high-quality small animal veterinary care across a high-volume, varied caseload including emergency cases
• Develop and grow specialist interests (orthopaedics, dentistry, ultrasound) utilising available equipment and practice space
• Build and mentor a loyal team to maintain the practice’s strong reputation
• Maximise the practice’s position within a busy retail environment and Pets at Home partnership

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Surgeon with a strong clinical foundation and ambition to lead
• Experience in small animal practice (no specific years stated, but ownership-ready candidates expected)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire for genuine practice independence
• Leadership capability to motivate and develop a team
• Willingness to embrace the support and systems of a network while maintaining clinical autonomy
