This is a full-time RVN position at a forward-thinking small animal practice in Airdrie, Scotland. The role offers a rare combination of clinical variety and genuine work-life balance: you'll work a 39.25-hour week with structured consulting hours (15-minute slots), a mix of theatre and consultation work, and finish at least one hour before closing time. The only weekend commitment is a 1-in-4 Saturday morning shift (9am-12pm), and there is absolutely no out-of-hours or night-shift work required.
Airdrie Vets for Pets opened in 2012 and was recently acquired in 2024 by three experienced practitioners who have over 50 years of combined industry experience. The team is deliberately designed around supportive culture and clinical excellence, not burnout.
Airdrie Vets for Pets is an established small animal practice with a loyal client base and a reputation for interesting cases. The practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and therapeutic kit including IDEXX blood analysers, Imagyst imaging, digital X-rays, dental X-ray capability, multiparameter monitoring, and Humphry ADE gas machines. The team comprises 5 veterinary surgeons, 4 nurses, 4 client care advisors, and a dedicated practice manager.
