1:4 weekend rota: Saturday 8:30am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm
This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week over four days, with rolling shifts alternating between 8:30am-4:30pm and 11am-7pm. The weekend rota is 1:4 (Saturday 8:30am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm), and the practice is open to discussing fewer days if that works better for you. You'll be joining a strong, inclusive clinical team at a busy practice based within Pets at Home on White Way Retail Park in Biggleswade, just 40 minutes from Cambridge and with excellent transport links to Luton Airport and central London.
The practice benefits from a well-established structure: a clinical lead and another vet, three RVNs and two SVNs, plus a dedicated reception team of five. One of the vets holds a certificate in ophthalmology, and the practice offers alternative therapies including acupuncture alongside traditional care.
You'll have access to excellent facilities including tonometry, ultrasound, a k laser, and digital x-rays, giving you the equipment and space needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
