This full-time position offers you the chance to work as part of a close-knit, highly experienced clinical team in a purpose-built small animal practice. Based in Brislington, Bristol, you'll work 40 hours per week on a 1 in 4 weekend rota, with the significant benefit of no overnight in-patient checks or after-hours on-call duties.
You'll join a collaborative nursing team of three Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Nurse, and one VCA, all focused on delivering high standards of patient care in a bright, air-conditioned facility equipped with modern surgical and diagnostic technology including a Class 4 laser, Vet-tome, dental FireCR digital radiography, and dedicated surgical and dental suites.
Brislington Vets for Pets is a locally owned, purpose-built small animal practice designed to industry-leading standards. The practice is led by owner Gabriel, who has a strong surgical interest and is nearing completion of a certificate in orthopaedics. The wider veterinary team includes three experienced vets, all of whom have been with the practice for over six years, reflecting the positive, stable, and supportive environment the practice has built.
Beyond the clinical team, the practice has a dedicated Practice Manager, Deputy Practice Manager, professional Client Care Advisors, and two staff members trained as Mental Health First Aiders, demonstrating a genuine commitment to workplace wellbeing and staff support.
