About the Role

This full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position offers a broad clinical workload in a practice that works cases up to a high standard and aims to keep surgical work in house. You’ll be part of a warm, friendly team with scope to develop your own areas of interest while staying closely involved in day-to-day patient and client care.

The practice runs a 40 hour week with 1 in 4 weekends on rota. It is a good fit for a dynamic, proactive nurse with solid all round skills who wants to be involved across the full range of the RVN role.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient and client care as part of the nursing team.
• Take an active role across all aspects of the veterinary nurse position.
• Support in house management of surgical cases.
• Work alongside vets with strong clinical and surgical experience.
• Contribute to a practice that focuses on high clinical standards and customer service.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
• Dynamic and proactive approach.
• Solid all round nursing skills.
• Ability to embrace all aspects of the RVN role.

About the Practice

Buckingham Vets for Pets is a Vets for Pets practice in Buckinghamshire. The practice has modern equipment including sevoflurane anaesthetics, digital x-ray, laser, ultrasound, capnography, in house laboratory, electrocautery and a dental machine, with plans to invest in endoscopy.

The team includes a full support team of receptionists and a very experienced practice manager. The practice describes a dual focus on high clinical standards and exceptional customer service.
