Join a thriving small animal practice where your development genuinely matters. Epsom Vets for Pets offers no OOH, flexible scheduling, and a team culture where nurses progress into leadership roles.
1-in-3 Saturdays; no out-of-hours or overnight on-call.
Epsom Vets for Pets is expanding its nursing team and looking for an RVN to join a friendly, progressive, and collaborative practice. This is a full-time or part-time role with a manageable 1-in-3 Saturday rota and absolutely no out-of-hours cover. The practice is purpose-built, modern, and conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from Epsom train station, making it accessible and easy to balance with your life outside work.
Whether you're newly qualified looking to launch your career or an experienced nurse ready for your next step, this practice actively invests in staff development. Their Head Nurse recently progressed into a Practice Manager role, and their Deputy Head Nurse, who they trained in-house, has moved into the Head Nurse position. That's the culture you'll be joining: one where learning is encouraged and progression is real.
Epsom Vets for Pets is a small animal practice established in 2016 by Lenesa Govender, the Lead Vet and Practice Owner, who brings 18+ years of veterinary experience including senior roles. The purpose-built, modern facility is fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, growing orthopaedic capabilities, and separate dog and cat wards to minimise patient stress.
The team of 12 (3 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs, 2 receptionists, and a Practice Manager) is built on a philosophy of treating every pet as if it were their own. The practice collaborates with peripatetic orthopaedic and cardiac specialists, allowing in-house management of complex cases and providing excellent learning opportunities for the nursing team. The practice actively celebrates diversity and welcomes people from all backgrounds.
