This is a full-time position working 35 to 40 hours per week, including a 1:3 full day Saturday rota with no Sundays or out-of-hours cover required. You'll be joining a stable, well-resourced small animal practice in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, where clinical excellence and staff wellbeing go hand in hand.
Bishopbriggs Vets for Pets is an RCVS Practice Standards Scheme accredited practice, an RVN training provider, and a Silver Cat Friendly practice. The team benefits from excellent in-house facilities including a full laboratory (Procyte, Catalyst One, InVue Dx, Sedivue Dx), ultrasound, digital x-ray, dedicated dental x-ray, tonometer, patient warmer, fluid pumps, and syringe drivers. You'll also have access to a visiting Orthopaedic Specialist, creating rich learning opportunities.
The nursing team is exceptionally stable, with two colleagues boasting over 20 years of service combined. Your Head Nurse is a clinical coach actively supporting the employed student veterinary nurse through their studies. Anaesthesia is a collective strength here, and the practice is keen to maintain and develop this expertise across the team.
