This is a part-time position working 24 to 30 hours per week, plus one in four Saturdays (9am to 6pm) with time off in lieu. You'll join a light, spacious, air-conditioned standalone practice set opposite a beautiful park in Harrogate. The team has built a genuinely kind, respectful culture where every nurse is trusted to use their full skill set, including schedule 3 procedures.
Whether you're newly qualified or looking to develop specialist interests, there's real progression available. Two clinical coaches provide dedicated one-to-one support, and nurses here lead audits, protocols, and their own learning projects. The practice benefits from visiting specialists in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cardiology, and ultrasonography, giving you exposure to diverse cases managed in-house.
Harrogate Vets4Pets is a standalone small animal practice led by Practice Owner Leigh-Anne, with a close-knit team of 4 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 VCA, and a dedicated clinical care team. The practice maintains high clinical standards with access to visiting specialists and a strong in-house case load managed by vets with soft tissue and medicine credentials.
The team is inclusive and accessible, with wheelchair access, hearing loop, digital stethoscope, and an open approach to individual needs.
