This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position with a friendly, growing small animal practice in New Malden. You'll work Monday to Friday, up to 37.5 hours per week with no weekend shifts required. The successful candidate must be available to work at least Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
You'll be joining a collaborative team of 6 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 4 VCAs, where many colleagues have been with the practice for 6 to 10 years. The practice has recently expanded with new facilities and now treats cats, dogs, rabbits, and a wide range of exotic species. The dedicated exotics vet and exotics nurse are both qualified in Exotic Animal Medicine, giving you exposure to diverse clinical work.
Vets for Pets is an established small animal practice in New Malden, South West London. The practice owner, who qualified 25 years ago, has significantly developed the business since taking over in 2012. The practice now features 6 consultation rooms, 2 operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray, a dedicated imaging room with digital X-ray and ultrasound, a rigid endoscope, a separate pharmacy, and separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotics with dedicated waiting areas and an isolation ward.
