This full-time RVN position offers the opportunity to work in a progressive small animal practice where nursing excellence meets clinical innovation. Based in Solihull, you'll join a team of 9 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 1 VCA supporting 6.5 vets across a comprehensive caseload. The practice holds particular expertise in internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, surgery, and anaesthesia, performing advanced procedures including laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, and orthopaedic work including TPLOs and BOAS surgeries.
With a commitment to zero pain protocols, the practice uses local anaesthetics in nearly all procedures and handles complex cases including extensive rabbit medicine work. You'll work 37.5 hours per week with no on-call requirement and a manageable 1 in 9 weekend rota (Saturday 8.30am to 6pm, Sunday 9.30am to 4pm).
The nursing team are actively involved in all clinical areas: scrubbing into theatre, managing complex anaesthetics, supporting medical investigations, and delivering nurse clinic appointments.
