You'll be joining Longton Vets4Pets, a recently expanded practice located in a state-of-the-art facility spanning 4,500 square feet across two floors. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract offering flexible full or part-time hours with early and late shifts available. The role includes 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am to 12pm), but there's no OOH, Sunday, or bank holiday work, giving you genuine work-life balance.
The practice sits in the heart of Staffordshire, surrounded by culture and attractions, with easy access to the Peak District and National Forest. You'll be joining a warm, supportive team of 3 vets, 5 RVNs, and a VCA/physiotherapist, all working in a collaborative environment where your ideas and passion for animal welfare make a real difference.
Longton Vets4Pets was established in 2009 and has recently undergone significant expansion, relocating to a modern, well-equipped facility. The practice specialises in small animal care and delivers outstanding veterinary medicine within a friendly, professional environment. Facilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, dedicated surgical and dental suites, and a CT scanner for referral work.
The practice's rehabilitation department, run by their in-house physiotherapist, offers hydrotherapy and physiotherapy services including an underwater treadmill.
