This is a part-time opportunity (20–30 hours per week) at a thriving small animal practice experiencing exciting growth in caseload and clinical complexity. You’ll work alongside an experienced, supportive team who collaborate openly and invest in each other’s development. The practice welcomes visiting specialists in orthopaedics and cardiology, giving you exposure to advanced case management and the chance to deepen your own clinical interests—whether you’re exploring new areas or building on existing expertise.
Bangor itself is a vibrant waterfront city with stunning natural surroundings: the historic Bangor Cathedral, Snowdonia National Park, and beautiful coastal beaches are all on your doorstep. The practice is conveniently located in Menai Retail Park with free parking and easy access to Chester, Liverpool, and Manchester for days out.
Bangor North Wales Vets for Pets is a friendly, diverse team genuinely committed to collaboration and continuous learning. With a purpose-built surgery equipped to high clinical standards, the practice serves a loyal client base with a mix of routine and increasingly complex cases. The practice takes colleague wellbeing seriously, recognising the pressures of veterinary medicine. It actively promotes an open culture where everyone feels safe, valued, and able to thrive. Part of the wider Vets for Pets network, the practice is committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities it serves and removing barriers to create opportunities for exceptional talent.
