Ready to join a welcoming GP practice with no OOH, a 4-day week, and genuinely minimal sole charge? Maidenhead Vets4Pets values work-life balance and clinical excellence in equal measure.
No out-of-hours on-call requirement. Saturday cover on a 1-in-4 rota (daytime only, 9am to 6pm).
This is a full-time veterinary surgeon position at Maidenhead Vets4Pets, a purpose-built small animal practice in the thriving riverside town of Maidenhead. You'll enjoy a structured day with 15-minute consults as standard, longer when needed, and protected time for lunch and admin. The role includes minimal sole charge responsibility and a 4-day working week with just one Saturday in four (9am to 6pm). No out-of-hours on-call is required, making this an ideal opportunity if you're seeking genuine work-life balance.
The practice actively welcomes candidates with a medical or consultations bias, though they're equally happy to accommodate a general practitioner approach. Weekly clinical team meetings discuss cases and patient care progression, with a monthly whole-team gathering and a flexible, open approach to day-to-day working.
