ECC Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

This is a weekend-only position at Vets Now Bristol, a thriving emergency and critical care clinic. Whether you're seeking a second job or aiming to deepen your ECC expertise, this role offers flexibility combined with exposure to a varied and interesting caseload. You'll work within a team genuinely committed to progressing in emergency and critical care.

The available shifts are Saturday 12:00 to 18:30 and Sunday 08:30 to 18:30. There's no overnight or on-call requirement, making this ideal if you're balancing other commitments or simply prefer daytime emergency work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care to small animal patients across varied presentations
• Work as part of the Bristol ECC team, collaborating with experienced colleagues
• Develop and sharpen veterinary skills through exposure to diverse clinical cases
• Participate in training and development opportunities to advance your ECC knowledge

Requirements

• RCVS registration as a qualified veterinary surgeon
• Existing experience in emergency or critical care (ideally some foundation)
• Willingness to work within an ECC environment and support team culture
• No specific years of experience mandated, though some clinical foundation is expected
