This is a full-time emergency and critical care nursing position based at Vets Now's Manchester facility, one of the UK's two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. You'll work a 4-day week on a rotational shift pattern (06:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 18:00, or 10:00 to 20:00), with a 1 in 5 weekend rota working 10-hour shifts. This role demands high clinical standards and a genuine passion for emergency care.
During your shifts, you'll triage and stabilise critically ill patients, manage complex inpatient care in the ICU, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including specialists and advanced practitioners. Your experience will span diverse emergency cases, including referrals from internal medicine and surgery services, giving you exposure to the full spectrum of emergency veterinary nursing.
